High quality loudspeakers

Every detail in our loudspeakers is developed and realized with the maximum care in order to obtain the finest quality of musical reproduction. All the loudspeakers design was developed with the precious aid of finite element analysis calculation; this allowed us to obtain the ideal design of all the shapes of the transducers and to optimize their characteristics. The construction and the assembling is realized in Italy with modern technologies but with the proper care of the an handcrafted production.

Our technical and scientific background influenced the philosophy which is at the base of the design of our  projects: “Hi Fi” means High Fidelity to the original recordings and not a personal modification of the music. Therefore, loudspeakers must be able to reproduce with the highest possible fidelity what the recording contains, no more, no less. To reach this target we joined the theory deriving from the study of the best literature on acoustics (Beranek and Olson among others) together with testing and our ten-year experience. Some people state that a loudspeaker has to be developed according to the personal taste and ear and not according to the physics: watch out, a violin sounds according to acoustics laws, nothing else. And it sounds good.Would you build a bridge according to your personal taste? Probably it would crush. Our ear is most important to complete the project but only because it is much sensible to the final result, hence able to identify any error done during the design.Acoustical physics places the fundamental requirements that must be at the basis of the design of a new loudspeaker. In spite of this, many loudspeakers present in the market have problems of diffraction and acoustic interference, use transducers that have great mobile masswith the result of an obfuscated sound made even worse by the mechanical hysteresis caused by the use of materials as the rubber.Differently from many manufacturers, Armonia designs loudspeakers as to reach the best performance using proprietary state-of-the-art transducers.
