New line source TICCS transducers Only for our loudspeakers we produce a new kind of transducers that we called TICCS (Compression Isodinamic Transducer with Separate Cavity). TICCS transducer are produced using no-compromise material and technology. The bended kapton thin film(12µ tweeter and 25µm mid-range) has an exceptional thermal stability that allows to accept the highest power levels without any risk of damage. The extremely low moving mass allows our TICCS transducers to reproduce even the thinest detail of the musical programs that makes our transducer capable to recreate impressive and realistic acoustic scene. Moreover, the magnetic circuit in all transducers includes powerful neodymium magnets that allow to increase their efficiency. |

Our innovative planar transducers, result of years of development and listening comparison with other conventional transducers, have an architecture different from all others electrostatics magnetodynamic models. The new TICCS® architecture “Compression Separated Cavity Isodynamic Transducer” allows our transducers to reach the fastest signal responses with the minimum dynamic distortions and are therefore able to reproduce even the smallest detail of the musical signal. With the dimension of one meter height our transducers are able to recreate with impressive realism even the most demanding music execution. |

Furthermore, the disposal of the geometry of the membrane in the PSES configuration “Progressive Sound Emission System” allows a progressive emission of the high frequency musical signal from the centre of the transducer to the mid frequency at the sides of the transducer, so that to reduce the acoustic interference perceived at the listening location. |
||||
Why our TICCS are better than others planar: |
||||
Geometric and acoustic |
- First the membrane is not stretched as in the case of RIBBON and electrostatic transducers, and is not affected by relaxations over time. The geometry of the membrane in fact follows the natural bending imposed by the frame. - Compared to Heil transformer transducers that are single-way, the TICCS can be multi-way, with folds of appropriate size to the range of frequencies that must be covered. - Another feature is the limited width of the emission transducer, 4 mm for the tweeter and 8 for the 4 mid folds with a width of approx. 90mm. This allows for virtually an emission-linear cylindrical and is not experiencing cancellations of typical planar transducers. - The front and rear noise is completely free from obstacles and therefore no audible changes. |

Technology |
- Kapton membrane made from 25 and 12 micron (1micron = 1 / 1000 mm), with thermal resistance that reaches 250 ° C in continuous use and peaks of 350 ° C, a level far superior to planar ribbon and electrostatic mylar membrane, a material with no comparable thermo-mechanical properties. - The electrical circuit is made on kapton membrane by using plasma sputtering deposition of copper and then processed with electrochemical etching. - Powerful neodymium-boron magnets inserted between the various membrane folds. - 6082 aluminum alloy frame CNC machined and powder coated, completely nonmagnetic. |
